The "Photo Session"

..so the Shoes are playing in Jacksonville, FL in a couple of weeks and they need new publicity photos....do they hire somebody...nope, they call me..I'm cheap and easy (don't let that get around). We traveled to a old city hall building in the old part of Santa Ana, and here are the results...hopefully they will find something in this bunch that they like. Do you know what a pain it is to shoot photos of 2 musicians? Suffice to say, there were a few moments I wish I was shooting with something else instead of a camera...

and this weekend...

Well, we partied to say the least. On Friday, Miss Dalaynee turned 3....so on Saturday we had a celebration. I'm gonna show you some of the pics, but will let Jayne have some of them for her blog...bad thing when your little sister has a blog...she wants all the good pics on her page...and it's her kid, so I don't have a leg to stand on...but here's the rest of the crew.

52 Years...and they said it wouldn't last

Mom and Dad celebrated 52 years of wedded bliss last Friday night. We all dined at the terribly extravagant Denny's, maybe you've heard of it. Nothing is too good for our parents. But it was great fun, as you can see. Whenever you can all get together and get a pretty good meal for a pretty good price...well, that's all good.

....and we go on

....in the midst of all the Jeff stuff, I had to photograph a wedding. It's the first time I ever did anything like that, I got paid and everything. Thankfully, my cousin, Nichole served as assistant...and I took almost 1000 shots. I've got it down to 500, but there's just moments you don't want to miss on a day like that. Here's two of my favorite....anyway, thank God for digital...it was kind of a kick in the head!

and on Monday

...sojourned to Huntington Beach to Danny's house for a bang up BBQ (food again) and fun in the water....what a weekend.

On Sunday....

We went to Chino to visit Uncle Bill. Had a nice lunch (cuz' once more it's all about food) and then went to Long Beach to have dinner by the Queen Mary....

On Saturday.....

...then on Saturday, while the Nords traveled to Hollywierd with my cousins Gina and Mike, I watched the girley girls (Layne and thier daughter, Leah) while they swam the day away. Then we ventured out for dinner (cuz' you gotta eat) with more of the cousins. A wonderful time..very loud....

On Friday Night....

We had a choir concert at our church of patriotic music and Laynee Jo joined in with God Bless America...we were proud.
